The Market Hill Cafe in Mono Mills opened up this summer (2007). I've eaten there a half a dozen times so far and have made it my mission to try every item on the menu. So far I haven't found anything that I didn't enjoy, but I do have some favourites!
Walrus Tusks - Chicken, Cheese and Chili all deep fried in a tortilla shell. You've gotta try these out, they are delicious and filling. I imagine that the Market Hill Cafe will do a ton of take out with these
Steak and Crab "Al Forno" - Erik (the chef) cuts his own steaks and what beautiful steaks they are! I'm a big fan of a good steak, with the Keg being one of my favourites...I also enjoy cooking up my own preferring t-bone, top sirloin and tenderlion. The steak I had at the Market Hill was tender and juicy and cooked exactly the way I ordered it (medium). The fettuccine which also came with this entre was also very nice.
As I said before I've enjoyed every meal at the Market Hill Cafe so far. Market Hill is a family run restaurant in Mono Mills, Ontario and I wish them great success.
